Weekly blog entry, hello again! How are you guys? I'm fairing well, fair enough.

I had just gotten back my grades for last semester, the 5th semester. I improved greatly and have gotten my first A! I am really happy. But I am not sure I can get into a good university locally anymore. I am exploring Foundation courses in Sociology and Criminology in the UK and I really want to get into UEL but, they require a 2.5 gpa at least and I do believe I am going to miss it by just a bit. Although this is an advice blog but I am also constantly seeking advice.

Also, how do you guys write your essays? I can never seem to get more than a B+ in a report.

What do you guys think of Birmingham City University? I am able to get in with my current grades I believe. And it is definitely better than the choices I am left with locally. My parents are worried about the racial issues however, especially with Covid-19. London would be easier because it has more race diversity and I know people there too. But Birmingham...I am quite unsure. I feel less confident there. I'll still try to get into UEL however. It is ranked #1 for it's psychological courses in the UK.

For my internship, this week, the biggest lesson I've learned is to ask questions. No matter what, if you're confused, just ask! Don't be anxious to ask and make a mistake, it'll be worse.

Study tip of the day : You know your own study style be it doing questions, rewriting the notes or listening to the notes repeatedly. You know yourself the best. If you need to do the questions, just find some questions to do! Tutorials the school would give and all. Always study at least 3 weeks before your tests and exams!
